One House Nursery & Gardens Sculpture Exhibition
Opens Saturday 7th May 2011 through to Sunday 22nd May 2011
Opening as part of the NGS (National Gardening Scheme). The exhibition area covers 7.5 acres of beautiful
gardens, woodland and meadow with settings from formal and intimate to a reclaimed walled garden.
During 2008, One House Nursery Garden celebrated Cheshire's Year of Gardens 08 with a Sculpture & Environmental Art Trail.
In May, 20 talented artists from around the country showcased their work in a fabulous garden or countryside setting covering 7.5 acres.
Media included metal, wood, stone, glass and willow. The event was a great success.
Please note that this will be the only time the nursery & garden will be open this year.
The Charity opening for the National Garden Scheme will be Sunday May 8th.
Admission £3 adults, school-age children free. Teas & home made cake available.
Felt maker Claire de Ruiter will be One House Nursery Garden's 'artist in residence' for each sunday afternoon of the opening.

Sculpture in the Sanctuary 2011
Opens Saturday 23rd July 2011 through to Monday 29th August 2011
5 glorious weeks and 6 amazing weekends of a sculptural celebration and extravaganza!
Sculpture in the Sanctuary 2011 will be bigger and better than that of 2009.
In 2009, 63 sculptors
exhibited 258 pieces but Sculpture in the Sanctuary this year will
feature 101 chosen sculptors who will be showing over 400 amazing works of art.
With 2 large internal
exhibitions in 2 large glasshouses and a stunning outside exhibition
set out with care and thought across the beautifully crafted and maintained 15
acre
Swan Sanctuary encompassing 5 beautiful lakes and secluded areas to delight
in as you discover the
along the various winding pathways, there’s more than enough for everyone!
Admission: Adults £5 OAP's £4.50,children under 16 free.
